My Blog & What I've Been Up To

Hello! I know that I'm a little behind and I may not be the best at this sort of thing, but I figure it may help people keep in touch with me better.

The past few years seem to have flown by with me just watching or trying to keep up. Last summer (2007) my husband and I bought a great house in a nice neighborhood. It's close to everything and I now only live about 4 miles from work! I enjoy being married, I think it works for me and I'm happy. We've done a lot to our house since we moved in, but we'd still like to do more. However, first we are going to take a very nice trip!

In September (2008), I moved out of the safety department at work and into the IT department (know I don't know much but I know the applications I support). I think it has been a good move, and I work with some great guys!

Jason and I have made some changes over the past couple years as well. We decided to get healthy. Its not the easiest, but I've been proud of us. I've been very happy with the changes that we have made and I'm thankful everyday that we can keep it up. Jason has changed so much, I don't even hardly recognize him in some of our old pictures (he looks amazing!) I'm so proud of him.

I've also started working out. Surprising myself with this one, I love it. My gym has a great atmosphere and I enjoy working out there. It doesn't intimidate me anymore, and I've actually gotten in pretty good shape. I've been working with a trainer for about 10 weeks now and it's been going pretty well. I even was able to make it through a class I hadn't taken in a while and I didn't feel like I would not be able to move the next day (that's a first!). I have more energy than I've had in a long time, and I actually enjoy running and going to spin classes!

I've been up to a lot honestly, but it's just a start. I look forward to continuing to grow in life and continuing to change. I have changed a lot over the years, butI think its for the better. I've made new friends, kept in touch with some old friends and started a great life with my husband. I can't wait to see what's in store for me next!
